English: Close-up view of a sunflower, Helianthus annuus capitulum showing the disc florets. From the center of the flower head, inflorescence of small disc florets emerge in a spiral fashion followed by the larger yellow ray florets- parts of which are seen at the edges of the picture above. In the center of the flower seen above is a lepidopteran larva.
Français : Vue en gros plan du centre d'un capitule de Tournesol (Helianthus annuus) montrant les fleurons tubulés. Au centre de l'inflorescence, on distingue les jeunes fleurons émergeant en spirale, ainsi qu'une larve de lépidoptère.
